Mrs. Silcox was born on April 11, 1941 in Camden, New Jersey to the late Gustav Frederick Burger and Rose Lillian Johnson. She enjoyed knitting, genealogy, reading and puzzles. She graduated high school from Merchantville High School also received her Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry from Eastern Baptist College. After her children were born she dedicated her life to the most important job of becoming a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband; John Silcox, daughters; Wendy (Warren) Goodwin, and Laura Silcox, granddaughter; Allison (Timothy) Fitzpatrick, brother; Frederick Burger, nephew; Frederick “Ricky” Burger, cousin, Faith Meiers.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in New Jersey. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Spruce Street Baptist Church, 3701 Gradyville Road, Newton Square, PA. 19073
