Lisa was born on August 5, 1964, in Brooklyn, New York, to Lucille and Salvatore Muto. She grew up in Cold Spring Harbor, Long Island, where she formed lifelong friendships and developed a deep love for the water, boating, and time spent with friends.
She graduated from Cold Spring Harbor High School in 1982 and studied business at Nassau Community College. Lisa began her career in the wine distribution industry with Winebow, where she built lasting friendships. It was during her commute to New York City that she met her husband, Adam. They later married and shared 27 years together.
Lisa and Adam raised two sons, Lucas and Erik, who were the center of her life. After moving to Florida while the boys were young, Lisa became part of a close-knit community through their school and sports activities and treasured the friendships formed during those years. She was deeply proud of her sons and the men they became. Later, Lisa found fulfillment in early childhood education at Temple Beth David Preschool, where she served as Assistant Preschool Director. The school community held a special place in her heart. She was known for her warmth, dedication, and the care she showed to children, families, and colleagues.
In 2017, Lisa and Adam welcomed their Australian Labradoodle, Marshall, who became her constant companion. Lisa also enjoyed cooking and baking, especially Italian meals, and took great pleasure in gathering family and friends around her table.
Lisa was predeceased by her father, Salvatore Muto; her grandparents, Rose and Angelo Muto, and Sally and Jack Paternoster. She is survived by her husband, Adam; her sons, Lucas and Erik; her mother, Lucille Muto; her brother, Stephen Muto, his wife, Kimberly, and their children, Stephen, Matthew, and Morgan; and many family members and friends.
