82, of Palm Beach Gardens went to be with the Lord on July 23, 2016. Jack graduated from Palm Beach High School in the 1950’s. He retired from the Port of Palm Beach as a Dock Master after 30 years of service. Jack was a devoted and faithful servant at First Baptist Church of West Palm Beach for many years. He was a devoted family man. He will be greatly missed by his loving family including his wife of 48 years, Connie Smith, daughter Sonya Finlayson (Dan), son Shelby Smith (Crystal), granddaughter Skylar; sisters Gayle Carroll (Don) and Carol Archer (Jim), and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 30th at 10 am with a reception to follow at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations to the American Diabetes Association.
