Marie Garrett

Marie was born on September 18, 1943 in Jasper, Indiana to Harold and Bertha Jerger. Marie passed away on July 6, 2014 in Hobe Sound, Florida. Marie attended St. Mary of the Woods in Terre Haute, Indiana from 1958 to 1959 for her Freshman and Sophomore years. She then graduated from Jasper High School in Jasper, Indiana Class of 1961.

Marie went on to be an hair dresser for 13 years and then worked for FP&L in Indiantown, FL. She worked at Sikorsky Aircraft and Pratt and Whitney for many years and finished up her years of service at the Town of Jupiter.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents Harold J. Jerger and Bertha Renner Jerger; her husband Thomas Rogers; her brothers Joseph Edward Jerger, David Jerome Jerger and Edward Jerger; and nephew Scott Jerger.

Marie is survived by her son Marion Garrett, III from Riviera Beach, FL, her daughter Kimberly Call and her husband Gary from Hobe Sound, FL; her grandchildren Brittany Call and Elissa Call; her sisters Florence Jerger of Port St. Lucie, FL, Kathy Dwyer and her husband Jim Dwyer of Ft. Pierce, FL; her brothers Ronald Jerger and wife Fran of Huntingburg, ID, Leroy Jerger and wife Darlene from Jasper, ID, Harold J. Jerger, Jr. of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Phillip Jerger from Jupiter, FL; may nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10th from 4-7PM, Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, July 11th at 10AM, St. Jude Catholic Church, 204 US Highway 1, Tequesta.
