Mary Lou was my oldest cousin. I remember how much I admired her great beauty. There were 24 of us "Sidisin" cousins in all and she set a great example. My mother, her aunt Gloria, would often recall how much everyone on 46th Street in Bayonne adored her when she was born ... the first baby in the family. God bless you, Mary Lou, and your family.

What a beautiful person!  I have many fond memories of Mary Lou!!  She always had a smile on her face and could brighten up any room she walked into. We will always remember Mary Lou for her smile, positive attitude, and carefree disposition. She was a joy to be around. It is unfortunate that God decided to take her so young. Our sympathy goes out to Jimmy and the family.

I was so sorry to hear the news the other day. My condolences go out to the entire family. Looking through those photos really brought me back. Her beautiful smile and bright spirit will forever be missed.

To the family, and those many people that Mary Lou had touched over the years of her way to short life, we send our deepest sympathy in this time of hurting. I remember when Jimmy and Mary Lou moved into the Sabal Point community.  One of the first things that I remember is the love and devotion that the two of them had for each either.  They had built a wonderful family with some of the greatest kids I had ever met.  One example of Jimmy's love for Lou Lou was when she was diagnosed with cancer and Jimmy shaved his head in support for her fight against that terrible disease.  Which she beat I might add.  Lou Lou was the Matriarch of the family.  She will be missed but never forgotten in the wonderful memories we all have in our hearts for her.  Lori and I want to offer our deepest condolences for all of the Higgins family.  The Higgins family is close and has a million friends that will be there to support all of them in their time of need.  Lou Lou is at peace with the Lord.  Jimmy, ever since my father had passed away you had always been " Pops" to me.  I love you and want you to know what a great husband, father, grandfather and friend you have always been to anyone who has ever had the pleasure of meeting you and Lou Lou!
