Mike graduated from Raytown High School and went on to study public health at Southern Illinois University. After graduation Mike started working in public health for the state of Florida where he was employed for 32 years prior to retirement. After retiring, Michael spent his time out on the golf course and enjoying his family.
Mike served his country in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968, stationed at Fort Benning S.C. and deployed to Vietnam.
He married Sonja (William) Livingston on September 21, 1968 and together they shared 50 years of marriage.
Michael was predeceased by his parents Charles & Mary; and his wife, Sonja.
He is survived by two daughters; Erin (Jason) Briggs, Elizabeth (Cary) Levine; and his five grandchildren, Hayley, Caleb, Emerson, Marley and Dara.
