

It's with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Rocco Gangai, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend who left us peacefully at the age of 94 in Palm Beach Gardens Florida, where he and his wife retired in 2016.
Born on August 16, 1930, raised in Brooklyn and Sayville New York and graduating Sayville HS., Michael then served in the United States Air Force and epitomized the spirit of hard work and dedication. From humble beginnings, Michael became a successful businessman in the commercial dry-cleaning industry and then in passenger transportation as owner of Country Limousine Service while raising his children in Jericho NY and then relocating his family to Melville NY in 1970. He often shared stories of his youth, his parents, relatives, military and work experiences. He was dedicated to his work and his loving family. His light hearted and easy going nature was enjoyed and loved by all. His presence will be dearly missed.
As we celebrate Michael's life, the world is a better place because Michael was in it. Our memories will continue to resonate through the stories and laughter shared amongst his family.
He leaves behind his wife, Angela Gangai (AKA Hon); three sons, Michael J. Gangai and his wife Joyce, Steven Gangai and Dean Gangai and his wife Betty; a daughter, Connie Jack and her husband David; grandchildren, Michael Anthony, Christopher and his fiancé Amber, Ashley and her husband Brad, David Jr. and his wife Sarah and one great grandson, Nicky.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Aycock-Riverside Funeral Home, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Cathedral of St Ignatius Loyola, 9999 N. Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410. A Committal Service with military honors will follow at South FL National Cemetery in Lake Worth.
