With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Miljenko Petric, a loving husband, devoted father, grandfather "Dido", and cherished friend to all, who passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025 at the age of 79. Born in Zadar, Croatia on November 28, 1945 he was known for his strong work ethic, words of wisdom, love for his country, and unwavering dedication to his family. Miljenko had always felt blessed by the opportunity to immigrate to the United States in 1967, where he married his loving wife and raised four beautiful children. With his determined mindset and skillful talent, he created a successful cabinetry business, while also building five homes of his own for his family. Miljenko had a passion for soccer, winemaking, history, and spending time with his six grandchildren. Later in life, he and his wife retired to summers in Sutomiscica, Croatia, which is where his heart was happiest, enjoying his days by the sea under his olive trees.
Miljenko Petric is survived by his wife of 55 years, Senka Petric; his four children Christian Petric (wife Betty, son Cy), Amy Jacobs (husband Cale, son Luke, daughter Ellie), Andrew Petric (wife Sunnie, sons Aden and Landen), and Jill Petric (son Dino).
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Matthew 5:4
