   Pop pop has led a truly great life. He has been a caring and understanding role model for our family and we all owe him our love and devotion for what he's done for us. He was always welcoming, never judgmental, and staunchly caring. He's seen and achieved more than most can hope to in their life and grown to see his children and his children's children and in some cases their children grow and make their mark on the world. He's been blessed to have been a crucial part of their lives and can take credit for their success and happiness by way of his love and example. Regardless of what happens to his body, he will live on in them for as long as we remember him and for as long we tell his stories and embody and emulate the principals that have made him such an exceptional man.

I deeply regret missing services for Pat Magee, and the chance to share memories with all the MANY wonderful Magee family members, due to work. Pat was a leader, hero, and great friend to so many beyond his own family. I always remember my Dad's friends in my prayers, especially his best friend, Pat, who blessed my family with such a comforting eulogy for my Dad, Jack. We all keep our own copies! A few years after Dad's passing, I was missing what advice he would have had for me, as I struggled with being a plaintiff in a civil suit (thankfully only one I've ever had to deal with). I turned to Pat for the fatherly guidance I needed. He was, of course, so generous with his time, and so like my Dad. As my brother Terence wrote, they were of the greatest generation. I know my brother Tim, and all the Hanrahan, Peiser, Walsh, Manzo, & Clark families are mourning Pat's passing, while celebrating the memories of treasured times with Pat and his late wife, Mary. I got great comfort as a child, listening to my Mom, Patricia, Dad, Pat & Mary (and in later years, my Stepmom Elena) share in pleasant conversation and friendship. Tho, I feel lucky I never had to try to defeat Pat in a game of basketball! Pat played to win! I wish strength to the entire Magee clan, who have so much to miss, as their father joins his friends and family in heaven for more lively conversation, and perhaps a pick-up game or two.

Kevin, Cindy, Molly and the entire Magee Family...In the loss of Someone so special in your life, words are not enough to ease the deep sorrow. You are in our thoughts and prayers. With Deepest Sympathy,

Sorry to hear of pats passing, he was a great individual and father. Through memories, people live for ever, and at a moment one can remember all the past events and great times. Jack and Donna Quinn (medfield,ma)

The Magee. Hanrahan, and Walsh families shared so many stories and much laughter to make the world a happier place.  Now Pat joins Jack. and John in their heavenly reward.

Pat left a light in all of those whose lives he touched however briefly. He is now at peace, but those who loved him are still hurting. 
What a wonderful legacy he has left. God bless you all!

Besides knowing Pat and his family since forever I can remember, he graduated Fordham in '51 with my Dad, and I graduated '81. Every 5 years, I would go to the Fordham reunion, and the highlight was always going over to the "Golden Rams" tent and sitting with Pat and my Dad's friends and hearing them tell stories of their college days. The greatest generation indeed.

Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.

Pat was a great friend to my mother, Elena, and her second husband and Pat's great friend Jack Hanrahan.  Thanks to Plandome CC, Pat had also welcomed my father when he joined the club in 1970 and was very kind to my mother upon Dad's passing in '76.  On behalf of all the Peisers, God bless this wonderful man and his family; his legacy will live on in so many ways.

It seems that "all the good guys" are leaving us. 
I am so sorry for all the Magee family at the loss of your father. We really do have lots of wonderful memories, of our years together, in Plandome.  You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.
