Paul C. Thomson

80 of Tequesta, FL passed away on November 8, 2010 at his home. A resident here since 1962 from Buffalo, NY. Born in Toronto, Canada to George & Birdie Thomson. Paul was a retired commercial contractor and commercial Realtor.

He is survived by his wife, Joan; five sons and one daughter, Scott of Hollywood, FL, Steven, of Tequesta, FL, Paul (Kim) of Jupiter, FL, and Rob (Lorea) also of Jupiter, FL. Kelly Cooper and Andrew Morris both of Winter Park, FL; sister Ann Pearson (Warren) of Boca Raton, FL and her son David Pearson (Anne) of Portland, OR; seventeen grandchildren & one great granddaughter. Paul was predeceased by two sons, George in 1973 and Matthew in 1983.

Paul was a former Pastor in western NY & was the Pastor who relocated The First Baptist Church of Jupiter-Tequesta to it’s present location. He was Executive Director of the Palm Beach County Development Board, former Vice President of First American Bank, Operated Cadi-Lease Rental Cars. He was on the Diocesan Committee for the Episcopal Church and was active with the Kairos Prison Ministry. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Kairos Ministry.

Funeral Service will be Sunday, November 14, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church 3395 Burns Road, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410. Graveside committal service will be private.
