Richard S. Russell

87, of Jupiter, FL, passed away January 31, 2012. Born in Beaver, Pennsylvania on November 1, 1924.

Richard graduated from Beaver High School and attended Geneva College. He was a construction engineer and worked for many years in various locations throughout the United States including Florida. Richard was predeceased by his late wife, Mary Dolores in 1974.

He met Jacqueline in 1975 and the were married on July 8, 1978. They made their home in Patterson Heights, Pennsylvania living in several different states in the USA because of his work assignments. After his retirement, they were members of the "Beach Bums", a large group of friends. The longtime snowbirds moved to Jupiter 6 years ago. "Dick" was also a member of the Elks and enjoyed playing golf and rooting for the Steelers.

Dick will be deeply missed by Jackie, his best friend and beloved wife of 33 years; daughter Betsy (Dr. Richard) McClelland; grandchildren Sean, Carly, and Kevin; stepchildren Thomas (Susan) Jaeger, Robert "Catfish" (Ruthann) Jaeger, Jean (Peter) Accardi; many friends, relatives, 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

His Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 2:00pm, Aycock Funeral Home, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter. Online condolences may be made at www.aycockfuneralhomejupiter.com.

A memorial service in Pennsylvania will be announced at a future date.
