Robert Daniel Carlton

Bob graduated from the Eramus High School and received his Associates Degree from Middlesex Community College in Middletown, CT. He married Rita Arsenault on February 10, 1962, and together they have shared 56 years of marriage. Bob served his country in the U. S. Navy. He retired from Pratt & Whitney after 33 years. He enjoyed traveling, especially on cruise ships, gardening (most recently orchids), collecting shells on the beach, going to casinos, and spending time with family and friends. He was a friend of Bill Wilson for 39 years.

He is survived by his wife, Rita Carlton; a son, Kenneth Carlton and his wife Priscilla; a daughter, Christine Carlton; a grandson, Christopher Scarola; a great granddaughter, Emma Scarola; a sister, Georgie Ann Hicinbothem; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Bob was pre-deceased by two infant children, Robert D. Carlton, Jr. and Deborah Lynn Carlton; and a sister, Carol Lynn Carlton.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at AYCOCK-RIVERSIDE FUNERAL AND CREMATION CENTER, 1112 Military Trial, Jupiter, FL. A Service will be held in the funeral home at 4:00 pm. Burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert’s name to a charity of your choice.
