Bob was predeceased by his wife of 40 years Pam, they were married September 22, 1979 until Pam’s death in 2019.

Bob worked for Broward County Mass Transit for over 25 years.

Bob is survived by his son Patrick, daughter Nicolle, brother and sister in law Michael and Jenl. He is predeceased by his parents, Norman and Vernia.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Relay for Life Northern Palm Beaches or the American Legion.

Internment will be Monday April 11th at 11am at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lane 1. Please arrive by 10:50 am at the latest as they begin promptly at 11am. The Cemetery is located at 6501 FL-7, Lake Worth, FL 33449. The Nie family would love to have those that loved Bob attend but do want to let everyone know this internment is only 20 minutes and will not allow for time people to speak. They would like for those that wish to share memories of Bob to instead attend his Celebration of Life.

Dad loved sports but especially baseball so in his honor please come join us for a baseball game. Dad’s Celebration of Life will be at Roger Dean Stadium on Wednesday, April 13th at 5:30pm. Come join us for a hotdog, popcorn and a beer to Dad. Followed by a Minor League Baseball game at 6:30pm. We do need to know your coming so that a ticket will be held for you.
