Robert Thomas Ross

Bob and his loving wife, Rose, raised two awesome children, Zak and Abby. He will also be missed by his brothers, Tom and Steve; sister, Mary; sister-in-law, Shari and many other beloved family members.

Proudly serving our great country, Bob was a Sergeant in the Air Force, honorably discharged after serving four years. He then began his career at FPL, where he rose from wire checker to draftsman to engineer, while earning his degree at the University of Miami over eight years. He completed his B.S.E.E. and enjoyed a 26 year career with FPL. Finishing another academic journey, Bob earned his Master’s in Manufacturing Engineering, graduating from Florida Atlantic University on the same day with Zak. When Rose and Abby graduated from FAU two years later, Bob could not be more proud. Together, the Rosses became a family of Owls.

Bob was always there for his family, friends and neighbors and was glad to lend a hand. He was a great dad, wonderful husband, friendly neighbor and above all, a man of integrity and honesty. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
