Ruth was employed as a secretary for many years. She enjoyed golfing, traveling, and the beach. She was socially active at Little Club in Tequesta and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Jupiter-Tequesta.
Ruth was predeceased by her first husband of 40 years, Donald Muchmore, and her second husband of 12 years, William J. Preuss.
She is survived by a step-daughter, Sharon Preuss Rappaport and her husband Jack; two granddaughters, Marla Rappaport and Leann Rappaport; two grandsons, Kevin Preuss and his wife Judy Preuss and William Preuss and his family, as well as great-grandchildren, Charlee Janeczko and Elijah Preuss.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. The Aycock-Riverside Funeral Home, Jupiter, FL, is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ruth’s name to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5301 S Congress Ave, Lake Worth, FL 33462.
