Shannon Ann Desouza

Shannon was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, on September 22nd, 1977, to Betty and Kenny Whalen, both of whom have passed. Shannon has one daughter, Gabriella, who she has now joined in heaven, as well.

Shannon spent most of her adult life raising her beloved Gabby and working towards providing she and her loved ones a successful and happy life. Shannon worked various positions in the dental field, with her last title being Practice Administrator at Appearance Dental in Jupiter, Florida. Shannon was a Catholic and lived her life with God in her heart and a fierceness in her soul. She loved cooking fancy dinners, spending time with her friends, and traveling! Most of all, Shannon loved her family and making sure everyone around her laughed, generously giving all that she could, and showing unconditional love.

Shannon left behind two brothers- John and Tommy, and two sisters- Marjorie and Cindy, as well as many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, her aunt Arlene, her boyfriend, Cecilio, and her favorite fur baby, Olive.

Shannon's service will be held at the Riverside Memorial Park in Tequesta, Florida, on November 18th at 2:00 pm. Please bring any printed photos you may want placed on Shannon's memorial board. You are also welcome to bring any flowers or small memorabilia you would like placed at Shannon's grave.
