Theodora Coffey

63, of Jensen Beach passed away on November 26, 2011 at Jupiter Medical Center. Born and raised in Queens, New York. Teddy had been a resident of Florida for 20 years.

She was an avid animal lover, she enjoyed traveling, but most of all she loved to take care of her family. Teddy worked for the VA Medical Center in many areas. She was a registered nurse helping our veteran’s cope with the extreme stress involved in serving our country. She also assisted in developing policies and procedures at the medical center. Teddy worked for the Martin County Sherriff’s Office- Corrections Department as a nurse. She worked with CARF traveling the country evaluating mental health facilities for national certifications.

Survived by her loving daughter Erin Coffey and her loving grandson Anthony Coffey of Jupiter; her significant other F.A. Cooper of Jensen Beach.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of the VA Medical Center 7305 North Military Trail, Riviera Beach.
