Timothy James Connell Jr.

Tim was a proud Veteran and served his country in the U.S. Air Force for 26 years where he served in various war campaigns, until he retired as a Master Sergeant. Tim enjoyed sports with a special passion for rugby, which began when he was stationed in Taiwan, where he was instrumental in starting the Outsiders rugby club. His love for the sport spanned decades where he played tournaments in several countries and after retiring from the sport at age 70, he proudly stepped into the role of Asst. Coach for the local girls’ high school team. Tim will also be remembered for his love of music, trains, photography, western movies and military history. To say he touched many lives throughout his lifetime is an understatement.

Tim is survived by his wife, Kuan Connell; his children, James (Marianne ✞) Connell, Louise Fitzgerald, Margaret (Jeffrey) Gogue and Mary (Joseph) Keane; grandchildren, Jessica (Brian) Coltz, Elizabeth (Mike) Kelly, Anthony & Katherine Fitzgerald, Jonathan, Christopher ✞, Cody (Taryn), Justin (Cristiana) and Curtis (Swetha) Gogue; great grandchildren, Hailey & Jacob Coltz, Sam & Ronan Kelly, Elena, Damien, Zackari & Veena Gogue; as well as Tim’s many in-laws living in Taiwan, who lovingly welcomed him into the family and viewed him as their own.

Tim will be greatly missed by all who were lucky to know and love him. The Family would also like to express their gratitude to the caregivers, nurses and doctors for their compassionate care,
