Valeriy Tsur-Tsar

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Dr. Valeriy Tsur-Tsar (“Val”), on April 24th, 2022. Val was born on January 24, 1975 in Stolin, Belarus to a very loving Christian family. He was the 4th of 8 children to Ivan and Mariya Tsur-Tsar.

Val is survived by his wife, Dr. Natalia Tsar; two amazing sons, Pavel and Andrew; his parents; his sister, Irina; six brothers, Alex, Vitaly, Andrey, Pavel, Anthony, Avenir, and his soul brother, Bogdan.

Having entered dental school at the University of Buffalo with his brother Pavel, Val met Natalia, and the 3 worked together to earn their dental degrees. Val’s professors and peers were always marveled by his dental abilities and propensity toward perfection. Shortly after graduation, Val and Natalia were married and began raising their children and building their practices. His joy of fatherhood and his dedication to his children was unparalleled. He never hesitated to change a diaper or wake up in the middle of the night. Val worked tirelessly to help the boys succeed in their golf endeavors. He was their role model, coach, and golf buddy. He was passionate about helping his boys become golf champions, and invested much of his time and energy into taking them to numerous golf tournaments all over the U.S. He loved golfing with his brothers, sharing about life and having deep theological conversations. He was an amazing dentist, who was loved by his patients and staff alike.

The whole family enjoyed his generous and playful spirit, and his undying devotion to God. We will remember our Val as a bright, intelligent, hardworking, successful family man, and our hearts are forever broken by this loss. The family is asking for your prayers during this difficult time.
