Wayne Stuart Flaggs

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wayne Stuart Flaggs, from Juno Beach, FL at the age of 71, on January 6, 2024. He was born to Stanley and Mary Flaggs on March 16, 1952 in Baltimore, MD.

Wayne was a graduate of Patapsco High School, class of 1970, and went on to attend MIT where he earned his degree in Electrical Engineering in 1974. He started his career in 1974 working for IBM. During his time at IBM, he was well accomplished and moved on to become the VP of Worldwide Enterprise Sales before his retirement from IBM in 2007. He continued his work in retirement for DevonIT working as Sales Executive until 2010.

Wayne will be remembered for his love of golf, sailing, the beach and spending time with family and friends, in addition to his contagious laugh, sense of humor and generous spirit.

Wayne is survived by his mother, Mary Grace Flaggs; his siblings, Stanley Robert Flaggs, Jr, Christopher Flaggs, R. Scott Flaggs, Nancy Spencer and Susan Kessler and numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his father Stanley Robert Flaggs, Sr. and a nephew, Stanley Robert Flaggs, III.

Wayne leaves a legacy of love, laughter, and service. His presence will be profoundly missed, but his memory will continue to be a beacon of warmth and joy for all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
