

Alexander Roman Jr., 65, of Wailuku, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. Services will be held at Ballard Family Mortuary in Kahului on Friday, January 10, 2025, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Public viewing will be from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Alexander was born on April 5, 1959, on Oahu. He retired from the Mason’s Union Local 630 as a Mason Journeyman. He was a master of his trade and would teach others who were willing to learn.
Alexander enjoyed being with family and friends. He played Senior Softball with Da Mix Breeds who won the State “C” Division Championship in August 2024. He loved spending time outdoors, his football team – the L.A. Rams, and most of all, he loved God. He coached several softball teams and enjoyed playing softball with his son “A.J.” There are so many amazing memories to treasure for a lifetime which we will hold dear to our hearts.
Alexander is survived by his loving wife, Sandy Roman; son Alexander “A.J.” Roman III; twin daughters Dezarae Coulson and Danielle Gallagher from Evansville, Indiana; siblings Joseph (Donna) Roman from Grand Prairie, Texas; Michael (Joella) Roman; Anthony (Charmaine) Perreira; Sheila (Christopher) Ng; Christina Llanes and Francine Roman from Los Angeles, California; Charlene Roman; brother-in-law John Cuellar from Colorado; mother in-law Martha Diaz; sisters-in-law Lola (Bush) Martin and Tammy (Todd) Frias; and brother-in-law David (Kathi) Diaz III. Alexander is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, numerous cousins, and extended family members. Alexander was predeceased by his parents Alexander Roman Sr. and Emilia Roman; brother Douglas Roman; sisters Tessie Lyn Roman and Jessica Cuellar; and father-in-law David Diaz, Jr.
