
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at Christ the King Catholic Church; prayer service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Services will also be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at St. Mary Church in Hana; mass will begin at 11:00 a.m.; burial to follow at Honokalani Cemetery.
Tony was a retired Leaderman Stevedore at Young Brothers, Ltd. He loved the ocean, fishing and diving. He also bowled for the Hawaiian League and was a retired usher at Christ the King Church. He loved being with his ohana and going home to Hana. He loved his plants and working with his hands.
He was predeceased by his sisters, Ethel Fujikawa, Beatrice Stipanovich, Hazel Wong, hanai brothers, Francis Lono, George Lono; hanai sisters, Maizie Manaois, Helena Lono; and grandchildren, Daphne Kawaiaea, and Kaliko Sanchez. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Martin Bagio; son, Anthony Hanakahi (Jeni) Bagio; daughters, Wallette (Milton Jr.) Kawaiaea, Ivy Jean (Rob) Sanchez, Pauline (Kappy) Kalama; hanai brothers, Jerry Lono, Steven “Hilo” Lono, Piilani Lono, Kamehameha Lono, John Lono; hanai sisters, Kaihu Hall, Millie Gorbea, Carol Oliveira, Mokihana Kai, Ethel Gomes; grandchildren, Tiare Kapika Sanchez, Daryl Kawaiaea, Derek Kawaiaea, Kapena Kalama, Toni Marie Kalama, Bobbi-Lin Kalama, James and Joshua Thomas; and great grandchildren, Dylan, Lilinoe, Ariana and Dalton Kawaiaea, Kumaka Kawaiaea and Marianne Kawaiaea, Krystian Navarro-Sanchez, Lilia-Ann Sanchez, and Khoen Sanchez.
