Bernard Benedict Vasquez, 81, of Kaneohe Hawaii, passed away peacefully on Sunday January 3rd 2016. Mr. Bernard Vasquez was born on August 26th 1934. He retired from Hawaiian Dredging as a grade checker foreman and as a superintendent at Sandwich Isle Construction, Memorial services will be held at the family home 16-2081 Woodrose drive Pahoa, HI 96778, on January 9, 2016. Starts at 11:00 AM. He is survived by his spouse Frances Vasquez of Honolulu; step mother Esquiela Vasquez of Kona; sons Ronald (Lea) Kim of Honolulu, Robin (Jojo) Kim of Mt. View, Freddie (Rhonda) Yadao of Honolulu; daughters Lori (Anthony) Torres of Honolulu, Rene Kimura of Honolulu, Rhonda (Ryan) Vargas of Florida, Cheryl (Scott) Brown of Mt. View; brothers Thomas (Joan) Baldovino of Ewa beach, Robert Baldonado of Deland, FL, Eugene G (Judy) Quison of Kona, Anthony (Mona) Florendo of Waianae, Donicio G (Conchita) Quison of Kapaau, Marcelo (Ann) Mandaquit of Pahoa, Clyde (Lindalyn) Mandaquit of Kona, Patrick Vasquez of Kona, Rodney (Susan) Vasquez of Kona, Dexter Vasquez of Honolulu, Jonathan (Tawaon) Vasquez of Ohio, Vaughn (Regie) Vasquez of Kona; sisters Pamela (Craig) Camello of Kona, Carmelyn (Noren) Nagamine of LosAngelos, Sylvia Cariaga of Ewa Beach, Phyllis (Louis) Malasig of Kapaau, ; 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
