Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Ballard Family Mortuary, service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will be held again at 9 a.m. on Friday, April 19, 2013 at Maria Lanakila Catholic Church in Lahaina, with Mass at 11:30 a.m.; burial will follow at 2 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park, Garden of Meditation.
Bessie was predeceased by her husband, Anthony De Gama; and is survived by her sons, Roy (Eleanor) De Gama, and Alton (Arleen) De Gama; daughters, Merle (late Tony) Medeiros, and Jean (Tim) Bermudez; sisters, Eva Barglsky, and Jane Morikawa; 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren (predeceased by 1 great-grandson), and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
