Beverly Ann Anakalea passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, in Honolulu, O’ahu, at the age of 76.
She was born on March 3, 1949, in Pa’ia, Maui, and raised in Wailuku, Maui. Beverly later made her home in Kamuela, Hawai’i, where she spent many meaningful years devoted to supporting and loving her family.
Beverly was the beloved daughter of Daniel Evans Sr. and Helen Evans. She is survived by her sister, Gayle Salsido, and preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Evans Jr., and sisters, Linda Coppa and Roberta Chun.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Tina Anakalea and Nicole Anakalea; her grandsons, Kamaiki, Kaniela, and Elijah; and her three great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride.
Throughout her career, Beverly formed many lasting friendships while working at the Maui Beach Hotel, KB (Alpha) Electric, and later retiring from the State Court System. She was known for her strength, independence, generosity, creativity, and deep love for her ‘ohana.
Beverly will be remembered as a devoted daughter, a loving mother, grandmother, a caring aunt, and a cherished friend. Her warmth, strength, and quiet grace touched the lives of all who knew her, and her legacy will continue to live on through her family and friends.
Services will be held at Ballard’s Funeral Home in Kahului on January 17, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Her absence will be profoundly felt, and she will always remain in our hearts.
