Carl Tokio Nagata, 70, of Kahului, Maui, passed away on March 24, 2026 surrounded by family, under the care of Hospice Maui. He was born on April 21, 1955 in Wailuku.
Carl had extensive experience in the biodiesel industry but was mostly known as a hardworking and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda; children, Kyle Nagata (Niki Kwock), Kellie Nagata (Gary Allen Vares), Jamie Vegas (Alvin), Kanani Santos (Cody); CJ Nagata-deceased; sister, Sharon Yamamoto (Matthew); 6 grandchildren, Shayla Vegas, Joshua Nagata (Adri Manuel), Javin Vegas, Mya Santos (Koali’i Pu’u), Ava Nagata, Brannon Vares; and 3 great grandchildren, Alachi Pu’u, Levi Pu’u and Ariana Nagata.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026 from 10am-4pm at Pukalani Community Center.
