Charles McCabe

August 17, 1967 - March 19, 2025

Charles “Charlie” Arthur Kalani McCabe, 57, passed away peacefully the morning of Wednesday March 19, 2025 after his battle with pancreatic cancer, at Hospice Maui Hale. Born in Honolulu, HI and lived in Napili, Maui.

He is survived by his parents, Howard McCabe of Hilo, HI and Marie McCabe of Napili, Maui. Brothers Steven McCabe, Jason McCabe (deceased), Cranston McCabe & sister Allyson “Sissy” Spencer Kamaka. His loving fiancé, Wailani Kahahane and son Kalia “Anu” McCabe(Sadie Taylor). His beautiful daughters, Kahili “Tita” Onosa’i (deceased), Michelei “Mochi” McCabe & son Kaʻohu McCabe. His 8 grandchildren, (Temehani Paepule, Tuaila, Tamatoa, Taimane, Tevai & Matai Onosaʻi, Ijah Kaneaiakala & Malakai Bautista.)

Charlie went on to be a carpenter by trade and finished his later years of work as the Security Supervisor for Soleil Management out of the “Sands of Kahana” where he secured several properties on the West side of Maui and also in Kihei. He enjoyed working and the people he worked with.

His Celebration of Life will be held in Napili at the family Homestead “Dirt Road”, with the scattering of his ashes across the property at Napili Bay on March 20th, 2026.
