Claude is survived by his companion, Verlann Gonsalves of Honoka'a; son, Claude Carvalho Jr. of Puna; daughter, Tiffany (Joseph) Cuskey of Puna; brothers Val (Elaine) Sigmon of Nevada, John Mersberg of Kona, Frank Carvalho Jr. of Puna, Floyd Carvalho Sr. of Puna, and Glenn Carvalho of Puna; sister, Valma Carvalho of Puna, and Gwendolyn Kalani of Waimanalo; 5 grandchidren, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Private services held, Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
