David Vernon Salvador went home peacefully on Christmas Eve at the age of 74. The oldest of 10 and predeceased by parents Florencio and Rufina (Torrecer); sisters Clarita, Regina and Bernadette. Survived by Wife Janice; Son Timothy (Peter), Daughter Emy-Rose; and Grandson Zayden; Sisters Veronica (Dana), Cecelia (Lawrence), Joanne (Jim); Brothers Benedict (Karen), Christopher and Zachary.
A hard worker and great provider, he had a deep love for family and friends. His warmth and laughter and smiles will be greatly missed.
Thank you to everyone who had a piece in providing dignity and compassion: Firemen of Station 5, EMT’s, Bayada and Hospice Maui and all the Doctors that are too many to thank individually.
We are grateful to his amazing class of SAS ’69 and our awesome neighbors who were always willing to help in any way possible.
Services will be held at St. Joseph Church Makawao on Saturday, March 14th, 2026. Visitation starts at 9:30AM, Mass at 11:00AM with burial to follow. Please no flowers, leis ok.
