Demetrio “Nene” Gonsalves Sr., 64, of Pahoa, died April 13, 2012 at Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. Celebration of life will be held at Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home on Monday, May 7, 2012. Visitation at 9:00am, service at 11:00am. He is survived by his sons Demetrio (Heide Barton) Gonsalves Jr. of Pahoa, Jesse (Janice Waits) Gonsalves of Pahoa; daughters Stephanie (Jameson Williams) Gonsalves of Keaau, Jolene (Williams Santistevens) Gonsalves of Keaau; brother Eddie Grammer of Keaau; sisters Mary Jane (Elmer) Keller of Pahoa, Tina Alverez Gonsalves of Hilo; 18 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
