Edward Pung, 87, of Honoka’a, passed away on Thursday May 15, 2014 at Hale Ho’ola Hamakua. He was born in Papaaloa and retired as a Low Bed truck driver for the Hamakua Sugar Company. Celebration of life will be held at the Saint Anthony’s Parish in Papaaloa, Thursday May 22, 2014. Visitation at 9:00 am, mass at 10:00 am. He is survived by his sons Stacy Pung of Honoka’a, Stephen (Kum Suk) Pung of Wylie, Texas; daughters Roxanne (Yoshiki Osaki) Pung of Kawaihae, Sharee Rodrigues of Kalopa, Rainee Pung of Kapehu; brothers Joseph Pung of Honoka’a, Ernest (Dawn) Pung of Hilo; sister Florence (Joseph) Zolik of Delaware; 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
