Henry “Kaleo” Rafael, 63, of Pahala, passed away on Tuesday December 3, 2013 at the Ka’u Hospital. He was born in South Kohala and retried as a construction worker for Watkins Paving Service. Celebration of life will be held at Mohouli Park, Saturday December 21, 2013, from 10:00 am-2:00 pm, service starts at 10:30 a.m., lunch to follow. He is survived by his companion Karen Z. Cakin of Pahala; sons Kalani Silva of Hilo, Henry “Braddah” Rafael Jr. of Honolulu, Avery Keoloha of Waianae; daughters Lynsay Richter of Aiea, Rodlynn, Keoloha of Waianae, Rainy Keoloha of Waianae, Raquel Keoloha of Waianae, Reesa Keoloha of Waianae, Robyn Keoloha of Waianae, Rickylei Rafael of Waianae; hanai daughter Gina Sanchez of Honolulu, Leslie Balanon of Aiea; 7 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
