Hideo Shimizu, 90, of Hilo, passed away peacefully on Sunday January 24, 2016. Hideo was born on November 3, 1925 in Kealakekua. He retired as a self-employed auto body painter. Private services were held. He is survived by his brothers Steve (Dorothy) Shimizu of California and Mitsuo (Aiko) Shimizu of Illinois; Sisters Momoyo Maehira of Hilo, Betty Morioka of Honolulu and Sue Tanaka of Seattle WA; numerous nieces and nephews. The family kindly request no koden or flowers.
