John Montuewed Costa, 76 passed away peacefully at his home in Ahualoa, Hawaii. He was born in Ookala, Hawaii. John was a retired supervisor with the Hawaii Carpenters Union, member of the American Racing Pidgeon Association and former member of the Model A Ford Club, Aloha Chapter.
He is survived by his wife, Blace (Blescilda Cuaresma); son Michael (Tracie) Costa of Ahualoa; Jason (Debra) Costa of Kamuela; daughters Teresa (Wendell) Kualaau of Kona; Belinda (Leroy) Victorino of Kona; Janice (Zach) Drawdy of Waikoloa; sisters Shirley (David) Henderson of Louisiana; Rosie (Gary) Depontes of Kona; Joanne (Walter) David of Ocean View; 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Memorial services will be held on May 19, 2018 at Lady of LOURDES in Honokaa, with visitation at 8:00 am to 9:30 am, Mass at 10:00 am with lunch to follow until 3:00 pm.
