Karen “Aunty Angel” Kaliimelani Kealoha Wagner, 70, of Paia and resided in Haliimaile, retired from Mana Foods in Paia. She passed away on February 6, 2015, at home under the care of Island Hospice. She was born in Paia on December 20, 1944 to Solomon Kealoha Jr., and Annie Brown.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2015, at Ballard Family Mortuary; service will begin at 7:30 p.m.; cremation will follow. A scattering of ashes will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2015, behind the old Paia General Store.
Aunty Angel is survived by her son, Douglas E. Wagner, Jr (Roseleen Obispo); two hanai sons, Alex K. (Melia) Kealoha, Derrick W. (Kim) Kealoha; three daughters, Jennis I. Pyatt, Glennis R. Wagner, Jean Marie (Orensio) Martin; one hanai daughter, Corina (Roland) Tanner; 9 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren; preceded in death by her brother, Kenez Kealoha and her sister, Kennydene Kealoha; living siblings, Kalbert “Boy” Kealoha (Louie), Kendall Kealoha, Terrance Kealoha, Avis Visaya, Glennys Kealoha, Sandra Lee (Harry) Apolla; three step-brothers; two step-sisters; and many cousins, nephews and nieces.
