Kenneth W. Mooney Sr., 88, of Keaau, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at his residence. Born on August 12, 1935 in Saranac Lake, NY. Mr. Mooney was a retired County Heavy Equipment Operator and a Fire Chief for the Paradise Park Volunteer Fire Station and an Army Veteran.He is survived by his wife Matilda of Keaau; son Kenneth W. Mooney Jr. of Kona, daughters Faith (Douglas) Araujo of Minneapolis, Robin (Bob) Thomas of Seattle; 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.Private services will be held.
