Our Beloved Kevin David Williamson found his wings and flew away on March 14, 2016. He wanted to stay but his body just wouldn’t hold out.
He was such a big gift to all of us. From the day he was born in a logging camp at Tebenkof Bay, Alaska to the day he passed away on Maui, Hawaii.
If you ever heard the term “he would give the shirt off his back for a stranger”, that was our brother Kev.
No judgement, just “I can help”. He was a real teacher in not judging others.
He opened his doors to everyone. If your washer was broken or you didn’t have one you could come to Kev’s to wash, talk story and hear a story or two about his life in Alaska and go on your way.
Kev taught us about kindness and compassion. He was humble with a pure beautiful spirit.
Kev found his way to far away villages in Alaska where he was not judged. He loved the people up there and they loved him back.
He had two beautiful Eskimo daughters, Yvonne Vae and Kristine Denise Williamson.
Kev’s kind heart shined through and he touched so many people. We were so honored and blessed to have Kevin in our lives.
He will be missed deeply.
Kevin is survived by his father, Jim; sisters, Karen and Kathy; brothers, Kurt and Ken; children, Yvonne Vae and Kristine Denise Williamson.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Ina Vae and oldest brother, Allen.
