Larry Paleita'au Weinstock, 79, of Kailua Kona, died July 30, 2010 at home. Born in New York, he served in the US Army, was a Computer Programmer, a poet, a philanthropist and also was given the honorable title of a Samoan High Chief. He is survived by his sons Keith (Noriko) Weinstock of Japan, Robert (Rosalina) Weinstock of Kailua-Kona; daughters Sanoe (Llewellyn) Fukui of Kealakekua, Lanuola (John) Tilton of Waimanalo, Taimane (Kealoha) Ka'opua of Kailua-Kona; companion Muriel Ho Lai; brother Sandy (Arlene) Weinstock of California; sister Barbara Solomon of New York; 16 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
Services: Service to be held August 7, 2010, at Calvary Community Church 76-4295 Leilani Street, Kailua-Kona, visiting 10:00 am, service 11:00 am.
Interment: Burial 09:00 AM at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery.
