Lawrence was a truck driver for Maui Land & Pineapple Company for many years. Later he worked at the County of Maui, in the Department of Water where he retired. Also, he wasa member of the National Guard.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Patricia Fernandez; his parents Lawrence & Rose Fernandez; his sisters, Mary Martin, Rosalind Victorine, Violet Mae, Shirley Kealoha, and Alice Cravalho; great grandson, Jonathan Freitas-Almeida.
He is survived by his children, Donna Fernandez, Clayton (Anita),William (Jamie), Rosanne Fernandez, Annette (Stephen) Hall; sister Amy Butler; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Service will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Ballard’s Mortuary. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM, with service to begin at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Veteran’s Cemetery.
