Margaret Fernandes, 89, of Hilo, passed away on April 19, 2023 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born January 19, 1934, in Hilo, She was a retired Island Manager for National Car Rental.
She is survived by sons, Bill (Sandy) Sidman of San Clemente, CA, John (Phyllis) Sidman of Big Bear, CA, Mike (Shirley) Sidman of Mountain View, HI; daughter Heather (Mike) Porcase of Jacksonville, FL; in addition to 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Service will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023. Fellowship to start at 4:30 p.m., Service at 5:30 p.m. at Ballard Family Mortuary, Hilo.
