Matthew Louis Perreira

Matthew Louis Perreira, 28 of Pukalani was called home to the Lord on December 15, 2020. He was born in Wailuku on April 13, 1992 to Robert (Bobby) and Renee Perreira, Jr. He was the youngest of 4 children and a 2010 graduate of King Kekaulike High School. He was a successful business owner of Matt’s Automotive (bodyworking and painting cars). He loved to build and ride motorcycles. He had a passion for driving hot rods with his dad.

Matthew had a big heart filled with kindness and love for everyone. He loved helping others and had many friends. In his short life, he lived it to the fullest. He went skydiving, zip-lining, helicopter riding, parasailing with his wife and took his family to Disneyland. He just started getting into drag racing with his grandfather, Cammy’s drag bike.

He is survived by his loving wife Chloe Perreira and son, Isaiah John Perreira, along with hanai son, Jayden Becker; siblings, Marcy (Annie) Perreira, Mandy (Shaun) Tavares, Mitchell (Brittany) Perreira; 4 nieces and 2 nephews. Grandfather, Cammy Cambra. Predeceased by his Grandmothers Barbara Cambra and Marymae Perreira and Grandfather, Robert Perreira, Sr.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a drive-thru will be held at Ballard Family Mortuary on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 11:00 a.m – 1:00 p.m. Wearing of masks is required. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Church Cemetery.

The family would like to thank all of the first responders and the doctor’s at the Maui Memorial Medical Center.
