Michael Napuaakekaulike Purdy Sr., 76, of Ulupalakua, Maui passed away on October 13, 2021 in Wailuku. He was born on February 17, 1945 in Kula, Maui.
Michael is survived by his 2nd wife Marcie, children Michele Renta (Fred Sr.), Laurie-Ann Purdy (Rene’), Corina Aila (Regan Sr.), Michael N. Purdy Jr. Grandchildren Tiare Sr. Feliciano (Joey), Fred Renta Jr., Keola Purdy, Kamaka Purdy, Kamalu Purdy. Great grandchildren Luke, Keahi, Tiare Jr., Nainoa, Dicen, Ezekiel, Jahzaiah, Ciana, Iliahi, Colten and Koamalu.
Step-children Marcie “Bunnie” Greenwell and Alan Greenwell. Step-grandchildren Marley, Racine, Regan Jr. (deceased), Jovan, Jazmin, Christy, Latasha, Braxton, Alicia, Tialana and Kelly.
He is predeceased by his 1st wife Sandra and daughters, Haunani and Laura-Lee Purdy.
Private services will be held at Ballard Family Mortuary. Scattering of ashes will be in the pastures he loved at Ulupalakua.
