We think about your beautiful Nancy every day. She was always happy and  smiling and so generous. . We started our friendship on Maui and then expanded it. We are so happy we got to spend several weeks with her before she passed.

Andrea and I send our sincere condolences to the Shurter family.  We will celebrate our 6th summer on the lake this year. Our first summer, Nancy came to the house with Cookes that she baked to welcome us to the neighborhood as new home owners. What a super nice gesture on her part. So thoughtful.

Our hearts are broken at the loss of our dear friend Nancy.  We are so grateful for the years of friendship that we have enjoyed with Ron and Nancy.  What a dynamic duo, so full of love for each other and for their fellowman.  
Our two weeks in Maui this year were filled with laughter, hugs, good food, short walks, long visits and wonderful memories with Miss Nancy.  Not knowing those weeks would be the last weeks we would have with Nancy make them even more special.  
We have a strong belief in Jesus Christ, and we know because of Him we will be with Nancy again when we too have passed to the other side.  We love you Nancy and say goodbye for now!!

Remembering your mom and all the good times we had. If you look hard you can probably find many of the crafting items she did when that was the in thing to do. My husband and I met Ron and Nancy when we both were working on the house they built on Lake Wallenpaupack years ago, we became friends and have been friends ever since. Nancy was always happy even when she was not having a good day. Her and I shared a passion for crafting and I was always amazed at what she could do!! She always was so generous and giving with her talent. She will be truly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. 

My husband Brian and I met Ron and Nancy many years ago while working on their new home they built on Lake Wallenpaupack. We hit it off with both of them right away and have remained workers and friends ever since. Her and I shared a passion for crafting and she was so good at it and so giving with all she made!!
She was an inspiration in many ways and she will be so genuinely missed by anyone that had the pleasure of knowing her.

Nancy has ALWAYS been a kind, loving, considerate absolutely wonderful person. I will miss her tremendously. Our talks about kids & grandkids are something I will remember forever. Also, all those years of golfing, lunch & making wreaths. So glad we sat together at our end-of-season golf lunch last year. 
Ron & family my sincere condolences. I understand the difficulty of losing a spouse & know you never get over it, but just through it.

From the day we met, Nancy was my BFF! She liked everything I liked and vice-versa. We shopped til we dropped, played bridge and golf and always had the best time together. I have missed her every day since moving to GA and will never have another friend like Nancy.

Whenever I think of Nancy, I remember her lovely Christmas bear collection. To me, it expresses her deep joy and love of life and family.

Nancy, and family - so sorry she is gone from the physical world. Thank you for all the kindness and support over the years. Thanks for having me at your home, cabin, and Maui. I have very fond memories of us all. Sending light and love, and wishes for strength to get through this difficult time of morning.

Nancy was a wonderful Chester, NJ friend that I met through Welcome Wagon in the 90’s.  We shared a love of Christmas village houses and teddy bears. We played Mah Jong together and Gourmet dinners and trips. Kept in touch via Facebook. She will truly be missed by so many. My condolences to the family.

We all will miss your laughter and good cheer as both a neighbor and golfing buddy. Your generosity creating Christmas wreaths for organizations is another example of your kindness and good heart. We hope being in your treasured Maui with Ron and your long time friends brought you joy and peace.

Nancy has been a part of my life for so long that I can't imagine not seeing her wonderful smile or getting one of those famous hugs! Whether we were making wreaths, going to sing with the Women's club to some of the nursing homes, or taking a ride on the lake, she was always a wonderful person to be with.
