Patricia Collins, 90, of Hilo, formerly of Incline Village, Nevada passed away on April 28, 2017.She was born on March 23, 1927, in Superior, Nebraska. She grew up in Fillmore, California and graduated from UCSF. She was married for 63 years to Rev. Dr. Asa Collins until he passed away in 2014. Patricia was a retired Registered Nurse. She worked at San Jose hospital until her retirement. She was an active member of Presbyterian churches her entire life. She also belonged to PEO. Services will be held at Incline Village Community Church on May 20 at 2:00 PM She is survived by her daughters; Elizabeth (James) Dart of Las Vegas, NV, Colleen (Richard) Otani of Hilo, and Janice Collins of Henderson, NV, 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 2 nieces and 2 nephews. Arrangements by Ballard Family Mortuary Hilo. Donations in her name can be made to Presbyterian missions or Mercy Ships.
