It is with great sadness and heavy heart that we announce the passing of Patricia Lou “Pattylou” Castro Duarte, a kind and sweet soul who peacefully left us in her sleep on January 4, 2023, in Haiku.Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at Ballard Family Mortuary, Kahului, memorial service will begin at 7:30 p.m.She is survived by her husband, Manuel A. Duarte; children, Dustin (Linda) Castro, Michael Duarte, Myron Duarte, and Marlene Duarte; siblings, Joyce Whitby-deceased, Reginald Castro-deceased, Cynthia (Phillip) Freitas, and Alexa Castro; 8 grandchildren, Brianna, Chelsea-Lynn, Dylenn, Carley, Dominic, Zachary, Warwick, and Wyatt; and 1 great-grandson, Remington.
