Peter M.L. Kekona Sr., 71, of Wailuku, passed away on August 31, 2010 at his residence. He was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator with Good Fellow Brothers. He is survived by his wife, Rachel Kekona; sons, Peter Kekona Jr., Brandon Gomes, Bronson Kekona, and Peter Kekona III; hanai-sons, Anthony Kekona Jr. and Leonard (Sonia)Kekona; daughters, Scarlett (Gary) Vinge, U'ilani Kekona, Malani (Joe) Rodrigues, and Evelyn Fernandes; brothers, Anthony Kekona Sr., and Leonard Kekona Sr.; 19 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Visitation 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2010 at Ballard Family Mortuary.
Services: Services at 7 p.m., Cremation to follow.
