Phyllis Yeoman Tucker, 76, of Kahului, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2012 at Hale Makua Kahului nursing home. Phyllis was born August 18, 1935 in Aberdeen, South Dakota. She was an Executive Secretary for 30 years with companies in Minnesota and Colorado, before coming to Maui in 1987. In June, 1992, Phyllis attended "clown camp" at the University of Wisconsin, and, thereafter, performed as "Oli Oli" the clown for the next 4+ years at different venues on Maui and Kauai. Phyllis was an avid mahjong teacher/player and a voracious reader of books. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Williams in 1956 and her husband Eugene Tucker in 1987. She is survived by her son, Joseph Tucker (Lorrie); grandchildren, Andrew Tucker (Amanda) and Rachel Tucker; brothers, Clarence (Elayne) Yeoman, Gerald (Kathy) Yeoman, Dennis (Pat) Yeoman, and Leonard (Debbie) Yeoman.
Services: Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 at Christ the King Church on Thursday, January 26, 2012. A reception will follow immediately afterward at the church.
