Richard Joseph Souza, 81, of Wailuku, passed away on March 27, 2011, at Hale Makua in Wailuku. He was born March 16, 1930 in Paia. Mr. Souza retired as a General Manager with Hertz Rental Car Agency and also retired from Honolulu Ford. He is survived by his wife, Pearl Souza; son, Lyle (Lisa) Souza; daughter, Lynette (Leonard) Ichimoto; 6 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Mr. Souza was preceded in death by his son, Leslie Clinton (Jacqueline)Souza Sr.
Services: Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Maluhia Church, located at 112B Lower Waiehu Beach Road, memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will also be held at Diamond Head Mortuary on Oahu, at 11 a.m, on Friday, April 15, 2011, memorial service at 12 noon; urn burial at 12:45 p.m. at Diamond Head Cemetery.
