Robert “Rebel” Drummond, 69, of Ocean View passed away on January 11, 2022 in Ocean View. He was born on May 8, 1952, in Chamblee, Georgia. Robert worked for Atlantic Steel, moving to the Big Island in 1971. He was known as a life-long “Gear-head” and Classic Car enthusiast. He was the Co-founder of “The Hillbilly Car Club.”
He is survived by lifelong companion Joyce Roberts of Ocean View; daughter Marion Caldwell of Rome, Georgia; and various friends and hanai family as well.
A celebration of life is to be held on May 8, 2022 at Manuka State Park. Pot Luck is requested.
