Robert Hornick

Robert Hornick, 89, passed peacefully at Maui Memorial Hospital on February 10., 2026. He was born on July, 30, 1936, in West Allis, WI.

He was deeply loved and is dearly missed by family and friends. A Maui resident since 2008, Bob is survuved by his wife of more than 63 years, Judith (Santilli), daughters Pamela Evans (Steve), Laura Zawaski (David), and son David (Kristine Johnson), siz grandchildren: Catie Evans Honebrink (Candon), Kelsey Evans Brosius (Eric), Rachel Zawaski, Daryl Zawaski, Matt Zawaski and Kalia Hornick, and three great grand children: Callan and Charley Honebrink and Alexandra Brosius.

A family vacation in Hawaii in 1980, inspired return trips, and the decision was made to move to Maui when retiement loomed. Bob and Judy lived the drema, hosting family and friends, happy to share their island life.

Bob is preceded in death by parents Clarence and Mary (Gulczynski), and brother Richard.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Theresa church in Kihei and a Celebration of Life will be celbrated in late July in Minnetonka, MN, where the contuned to maintained a summer residence. Dates and times have not been determined.
